VTOL prices

I was wondering if there is a production reason why the VTOLs are one per package and go for the same price as the two-for tank packages.

Most of the two-for packs are older products. Many recent vehicles of all types have been released as web-exclusive items available as singles only. Sculpting costs are typically about the same regardless of vehicle type. Beyond that, I don't have hard numbers to back up anything more than speculation; I would posit that tanks (primarily heavy/assault tracks for firepower and hovers for fast strikes) generally sell better for ease of use and cool factor. Greater sales volume = lower cost per unit.

I wonder if volume might also play a part. Even if they don't use much metal, VTOL minis tend to be much more spread out than a  relatively compact tank(especially the rotors). If IWM standardizes the sizes of their molds in some way, you can probably fit a lot less VTOL in a given molding volume than you can tank.

That does make sense, Psycho and Weirdo. I think the truth is probably all those things together.
