Danai Liao-Centrella (let’s not forget that she’s Canopian-raised and her Centrella half is just as important to who she is as a character) and Sterling McKenna.

Danai has had a pretty solid arc for the last 20ish years of publication and Sterling has made an art form out of wrapping idiot men around her finger in a way that would make the Centrellas proud.

I’d vote for Peter Cobb as my third but he has yet to stand out as anything but a James Cobb clone, IMO.

I’m pumped for the Snow Raven novel. Other than a few Shrapnel stories (which admittedly are all great, especially Ascending the Pecking Order), this will be their first real showing in a novel, and I’m so hype for it. And the WoR novels, too.

Found one more. Michael A. Stackpole's novella Not the Way the Smart Money Bets was originally published at Battlecorps in 2008 and appears in Kell Hounds Ascendant (and is available as a standalone epub as well, I believe). So that's 136 across sixteen books. I'll update the spreadsheet after the weekend.

I have great success with Citadel's leadbelcher over a flat black rattle can primer, thinned down about 3 to 1 with water or if available, thinner medium. you can pull the greatest concentration of the shinies to where the light would naturally fall and get a solid base, then hit with nuln oil or your fav black wash ( also thinned) until you reach a satisfactory level of brightness.

Good Painting!

My new ships have arrived ( courtesy of Aries miniatures) and I hope try this again on the weekend
