Completely unexpected. Well played, HBS

Do you think that the simultaneous release of a few dozen products a month or so from now will make up for that?

No, because that's later and I want stuff now!

It makes sense to me. They have likely permission to use it.  Likely this going appear at some point on MW5 Clans too.

Even dropping back to ordinary AC/5s which make use of the quirks is still a great option.

After the Hatchetman situation I assumed any more HBS in PGI was done, certainly was not expecting this...

Another week and nothing new.

Another month or quarter with nothing new it feels like, for a milestone year they have not had a good release year at all.

A pleasant surprise. This year is really good so far. New weapons, the first IS OmniMech in the game's history, and the reintroduction of the Bull Shark, an apocryphal ’Mech that hasn't been seen since the Heavy Metal expansion to HBSTech in 2019?! Madness!

I gotta admit, I'm excited for this one. Of all the ’Mechs to have come out exclusive to video games that haven't been ported to tabletop yet in some fashion, the Bull Shark is my favorite by a significant margin. Sure, we're not getting the original BSK-MAZ, because no Thumper cannon, but I'll accept what we are getting. The Mako Hero ’Mech seems to be a compromise on what the BSK-MAZ brought to the table, being armed almost identically save for the missiles and ER small lasers. I think I'll be running that the most of all of them. lol

BattleMechs / Re: 'Warcriming the Militia' - Battlemechs of the WoB

I've yet to read your story, I suspect that this project is related to it? I honestly can't see Blakists working with Clans. So far it's looking good.

I actually have a couple stubs out there - I'm still working on the Clan Blood Spirit one, but its very hard for me since it isn't a natural writing style.  This is the fiction for this project - I finished it but never put the rest of it here.*

Edit - yes, I did.

TL;DR - WoB, Clan Python, and the Civil Government of the Legacy Cluster.

The WoB wants to conquer the Cluster (including their allies) and brainwash them before returning to the IS and conquering it.  (They have to retreat from the Cluster.  One of their factions releases a bio-weapon.  Poof!  No survivors.)

The Pythons 'just want to see the other Clans burn' - nukes are ok - and are hoping to learn enough about the WoB to do the same to them (They don't.  They get Annihilated.  All of them.)

The Civil Government just wants to be at the table with the popular kids.  Maybe not live hand-to-mouth, like the other Periphery hellholes.

...And, it looks like there will be a total of 75 Battlemechs - 12 domestically produced Primitive/standard units, 13 Primitive/standards imported from the IS and seconded to their allies.  More than I wanted, so they might get cut down somehow.
