Environmental Sealing (Mech)   *

Based upon the venerable Commando Battlemech's schematics, the Linton is a Security mech of the medium class designed to be a cheap anti-support vehicle/anti-slow combat vehicle asset, to keep weapon systems in line with each others ranges a Medium X-pulse laser was chosen for accurate hole punching while a surplus standard medium laser was chosen to keep the machines ranges uniform. While it lacks heavy industrial armor and only had standard industrial armor, it was designed to be as easy to maintain as posible and uses surplus 125 single-heatsink equipped fusion engines for power supply. Environmental Sealing was installed to make sure the pilot was able to survive in hazardous environmantal conditions. it is classed as a medium weight hazardous environment vehicle(HEV).

and Here's a remixed Variant of the Bobcat more suited for urban operations.

It is very much like that.  I'm just picking NYR as my horse.  Even if they were facing the Canes or Boston, no matter.  Win or lose.

...Wilson of all players tried to make it close tonight!  Who let him practice hockey enough to contribute to the game???  azn

Credit to the guy, I married a Caps fan, so I see a lot of Wilson around here. Dude's good- like, 'this is a franchise player' good. He's a pest, for sure, and he has that nasty habit of getting thrown out of games that he never has shaken, but he's not alone in that regard. He's Brad Marchand with an extra few inches of height, or a Tkachuk with a few years more seasoning. Playing right on the edge of what's allowed, driving opponents nuts with his antics, and making goalies absolutely miserable with his shot. Any NHL defenseman mistaking Tom Wilson for a mere goon is in for a rough night.

I may not like the guy- at all- but I have nothing but (grudging) respect for his game.

From the other day fighting, I haven't seen much of their ability to shine. Looks like a lot of people bought the thing though which is good for PGI.  I'm not so eager to grab it yet, essentially it's a Nova with a backpack and some bulky add-ons. I'm sure there's stuff baked into its quirks to make it a little different, but I'm kind of disappointed but given their budgetarian/programming staff shortages we should be grateful  we are getting anything.  I expected the Nova to be shorter than the Blackhawk, it really would need to be that way. Cuz I got the most impressions that KU was narrower and taller.  MWO does really do squat size Mechs too well.
I am on the fence. I own four Clan Black Hawks and even though they are not among my most favorite 'Mechs, I know how to use them, if I want to or need to. But I am just not sure if I am willing to spend twenty dollars on another four Black Hawks, even if they use Inner Sphere technology.

I'm not sure how much you know about child psychology or childhood development. But the more you learn about this area the more you realize that the things children are exposed to at a very young age have an outsized impact on their development as they age.

There is a growing body of research that tells us what children are exposed to (or experiences they've had, like whether someone read books to them at ages 2-5 or not) has a strong correlation to some surprisingly outcomes later in life.

So if they can show it, or make it part of an education curriculum. Or mess with the algorithms to make sure it's being popped up as recommended content for children, by children, for children, over say that old Roadrunner cartoon. It would have some degree of impact.

Also, if Clan Wolf is engaged in this kind of thing, it isn't probably ONLY this one cartoon. It's probably a multi-pronged approach across different age groups and in different formats. One cartoon by itself may not do a lot. But three cartoons over here, a few books over there, a few ads, efforts to put some Terrans and Clansmen side-by-side at work or in a community so they start to see each other as just people and not just stompy 'mechs. A comprehensive approach would likely have an impact yes.

Versions of this have been depicted across so many scifi and historical shows. The adults don't like the invaders and perhaps are part of a resistance movement even. But the child or children are going to school every day and being exposed to the invaders' version of events, plan for the future, and depiction of themselves (aka propaganda). So as the adults continue to view the invaders as the invaders, the child or children are being subverted into thinking the invaders are actually friends, they aren't that bad, they are good even. Sometimes it goes so far that the child even turns in the adults as traitors as part of the story.

This is an incredibly common portrayal of this kind of thing. Enough so that I think most BT players wouldn't bat an eye at seeing it happen here. Especially if the writers explained it well.

Well I'm uncertain, I do wonder if any kind of life would be able to sustain itself that's more complex than a microbe in the radiation that's out there. Given how close the moons are to Jupiter or even Saturn, I don't think even magnetic fields would be able to hold off that radiation.

Thank you. I remove the mini from the base with a hobby knife, then I base coat it with Two Thin Coats Dragon Fang, glob on Pro Acryl Golden Earth and once that's dried, apply a wash of Two Thin Coats Archaic Sepia Wash. After it's all dried, I go over with a dry brush of Dragon Fang, then glue the minis back on.
