Title: Skat and the Terran Hegemony
Post by: BrokenMnemonic on 20 September 2012, 11:52:12
The Dark Age Republic Worlds publication states on page 64 that the two factions on Skat ended up fighting a local war until "The conflict was settled thanks to intervention by the Terran Hegemony, and Skat became part of that alliance until the fall of the Star League." That would seem to indicate that Skat was a member of the Terran Hegemony.

However, neither Era Report: 2750 or Historical: Liberation of Terra show Skat as amember of the Terran Hegemony - not even in the map on page 138 of H:LoTV1, which appears to show not only the Terran Hegemony core worlds but also those jointly administered and subsequently liberated by the SLDF. There's also no mention of any conflict to recapture Skat or of any Rim Worlds occupation of that world.

Was Skat a member of the Terran Hegemony? Or has the Dark Age Republic Worlds publication perhaps been superceded by the detail in H:LoTV1?

Hi,

the old Republic worlds write-up was always in error on that part. Even the old Terran Hegemony outline from the original Star League Sourcebook did not show Skat as a Terran Hegemony world.

As such, all the Handbooks, Era Report: 2750, and Historical: LoT 1 are correct.
