Guards took cover on the first floor behind the the low fence around the lobby. Dermot went to the sec room. Horst went further down the stairs and there looked up to Doc for further instructions.

both bursts pierce both of the armors without problems delivering respectively 3 and 6 damage points and 2 fatigue points. with 4 points of BOD, that means he is KILLED.
second shot also shred the enemy armors reducing it's BAR values to 0/1/0/1 and 1/3/4/2 respectively.

... but he hadn't had the chance to prolong his surprise.
