What was up with those "Intentionally Left Blank" dossiers you would get every once in a while?

The unique 'Mechs came with a dossier on the pilot/'Mech. With the way the earlier boxes were put together, people would fish for uniques by applying pressure to the bottom to open it enough that they could see if there was a dossier in the box. WizKids fix for that was to add the blank dossiers to random boxes.

without even ----applying pressure to the bottom to open it enough that they could see if there was a dossier ---   simply shaking the box MIGHT give you a clue as to weather a "Paper" Dossier Card was enclosed

And when I was a BattleMaster running games, I ran a tournament campaign for my regular players and then printed out Dossiers on each player that had a picture of the player, a write-up on their play style and a summary of their wins/loss record during the campaign -- Printed using those "Intentionally Left Blank" dossiers so it was a keep-sake that had an official air to it. :)
