given how much manual elements they willingly added to an automatic process like a PM, I wouldn't bet against them preferring to do it that way. ;)

I yearn for the time I was responsible for 200+ Assembler plus 2 Cobol programs, and not 2 Assembler plus several dozen Java ones.

I just saw the pic for the new Crusader and my big issue is that silly looking horn on top of the head. Not a good look to my eyes.

The thing is, the early illustrations had the horn, but the mini's head never matched the picture.  The second generation of record sheet used the Crusader as the outline for the damage box, and that also featured the missing horn.  I, for one, was glad to see the horn finally making its debut in physical form.

Nothing, on the contrary: Assembler is 2nd generation, so...

But to say something on topic: overall I like the new designs, some are a little bulky to me, but I can live with that.

And I haven't got the email with the new fiction, too.

I found the story quite enjoyable. Lore hounds will have a field day.
But at the end of the day it's just a rather short story. Don't let the wait blow your expectations out of proportion.

Quite so. It's useful to take a step back and see how far the property has come. Longform fiction is being written and I have several paperbacks, boxes and game supplies are offered for sale, miniatures of old favorites are being produced and they look *good*, we have several new pc games, and instant unit resources available at a click. I mean...

Headbutt melee attack should be included in general. High chance of hitting enemy head, high chance of getting yours crushed.

The Melee Master SPA seems to be the path to this ability... it allows one extra physical attack per turn, though I'd be hard pressed to pass up one more kick, especially if I was in a side arc...  ^-^

Grappling rules are in TacOps. No damage, but the next turn you can fire torso guns at the target with such good numbers that you can reliably expect to hit them with IS LRMs... WITH the minimum range modifier.
