I have been asked to put something together foe the Executioner-B from Shrapnel #8. Would it be better to put it in the main thread or tack it onto the Executioner article. Also when would you think it would fit in?

I think that thing is its own mech. YMMV

Agreed.

Honestly, I'm not really a fan of combining MotWs, even with closely related mechs.

Empty, I think. BrianDavion said they're planning to do the Sagitaire, but no scheduled date for release on it.

Was that a no regarding a Shadow Cat III article?

I did a Tell me about the Shadow Cat III and there was a few pages on it. but it got side tracked after a few posts

https://bg.battletech.com/forums/fan-articles/shadow-cat-iii-74050/msg1735576/#msg1735576

thats the only thing on it, other than the occasional 'this mech is similar' mention in different articles

So it could use an actual MotW article.

Executioner-B is up.

How is that Rime Otter MotW from January going? I have written up a behind the scenes look for when the MotW is posted.

I couldn't find one in a search, and am curious - was there ever an article written for the Legacy?

Edited, Never mind, I did find it, I missed it the first time.

Wait, is there really not a Trebuchet article?

Holy crap, there isn't.

How does one of the most important Mechs in the FWL arsenal not have... that won't do. That WILL NOT DO.

I'll have something up as soon as possible.

I look forward to this article. Over the course of the chassis' lifetime, it's gone from a kinda-crappy support 'Mech to legit terrifying.

A quick search says no, although there is something mentioned about it in the archives. It might never have made it over.

No. Another search sees it brought up in quite a few other Articles as a point of comparison but nothing on this iteration of the forums.

We have to wait until Rec Guide 27 clears the moratorium period first.  That's what, six weeks?

I thought this applied

Good news, BattleMech fans!  As the latest Recognition Guides are being released, selected items will have an article written to reveal the newest additions to the BattleTech universe in the context of their history.

These articles are an exception to the moratorium policy.  Please do not write articles other than those selected and released by Beemers until the normal moratorium is up!

I've been thinking of dipping my toes back in the water.  Anyone have any requests?  Preferably something odd and/or flawed.

EDIT: Oh, hey, this!

In that case, we could probably use a new one.

I'll do that.

No, people with Beemers will. That includes forum officials, but also includes CGL staff, writers and other freelancers, and plain old Demo Team agents, plus any other roles I've forgotten.

For example, Sartris wrote and posted the Chameleon article, but he is NOT a forum official.

I get what you were trying to say, but the idea that anyone with a Battlemaster icon is part of running or maintaining this particular forum is a misconception that needed to be nipped in the bud early.
