Worst call of the week rolling back the AZ touchdown, right there.

What was the banner?  I was watching the 49ers lose just a little harder than the Cardinals did.

I wonder how long it's been since all 4 of my teams won in the same week.

Iggles won, Broncos won.

Whoever was playing Dallas won, and whoever is playing New England won.

The Chargers banner of the week is now my favorite part of the NFL season.  ;D

(Bonus: The FAA ruled the guy can keep flying it because the Chargers' crowds- based on their own reported numbers- are too small to meet the qualifications for declaring the airspace a no-fly zone.)

I got a hoot out of the Eagles having home field advantage at L.A.

That was really something. You get used to seeing Steelers fans and such show up in opposing stadiums in respectable numbers, but man, that crowd was solidly pro-Philly. It was hard to see Chargers fans in a lot of sections. That's a new one to me, I can't think of ever having seen a home crowd that anti-home team.

I checked, their claim of a sellout crowd was 25,000 - the limit's 30, so there's literally nothing that they can do.  Banner of the week, where do we crowdfund it?!

I'm waiting with anxious glee for them to lie and announce a crowd of 30K just to stop the banner, and then get dinged by the fire marshall for exceedingly capacity.

Chiefs making me nervous, but if this game follows the rest of the season's script so far Smith is about to lead a bumbling and hilarious but still flawlessly executed march down the field as time expires to go into halftime down by 3, and then in the 4th quarter scores 21 unanswered.

Well, I got the margin right, at least.  Feel bad for the kicker, though.  Don't even know his name.

My favorite part of that Ultimate Garbage Time (tm) TD is that it meant KC both covered the spread and destroyed the Over/Under.

Know what? That wasn't a bad week overall for me. A few surprises like Carolina and Buffalo, an asterisk on that Jets win (Jaguars got hosed by that weird unsportsmanlike call in OT)... I'll take this happily.

Now comes the dark week... no Broncos. What schedule-monkey decided to give teams a bye week in the first full week of October, anyway?

The same one that took Miami and whatever else team and gave them a Week 1 bye instead of playing somewhere else, or even canceling it unless there were playoff implications.

Jesus, it seems all the kickers in the league suck now. What the heck happened? I've never seen field goal kicking this bad before in all the years I've watched.
