Chicagoland March battletech game
« on: 24 February 2019, 16:50:28 »
The game will be Sunday, March 24th.

The game is at Games Plus.
(Start time approx. 11:00)
101 W. Prospect Ave.
Mt. Prospect, IL 60056
Phone: 847-577-9656
http://games-plus.com/

Standard Chicago Rules will be in effect.

This will be a succession wars tech level game. (Most units will be intro tech.)

Following the Free Rasalhague Republic's proclamation of independence on March 13, 3034, the forces believing themselves loyal to the Dragon, stood against the fledgling nation's new army. Their skill and tactics spelled the end to a nation only days old.

Theodore Kurita was left with no option but to declare the rogue units as Ronin. Seeing that even with their honor questioned, these units stood behind their belief that they were serving the Dragon, he called on units loyal to him to defend the people of the Free Rasalhague Republic.

Thus was the Ronin War joined...

Standard Chicago rules?  Is that the side who slides the gm the most money wins?

haha.

Nope, just a set of standard "optional" rules that are used.

1:  Stackpole
2:  One arm prop fire
3: Careful stand
4: +1 on psr per 20 damage not modified by weight class
5: Floating Crits
6: Backwards Elevation changes.

I've been to a few games in the past and had no idea we had our own standard rules.  Goober thanks for the clarification.

All minis and sheets will be provided. All you need is yourself, dice, and a writing utensil.

Depending on turn out there is enough for everyone to have at least one unit. If there is a smaller turnout, you most likely would be offered the option to run more if you would like.

I have finalized the forces for this with two, last minute, special additions.

I look forward to seeing everyone who can make it.
