(We are in great need of a handful of vehicle Zs with Nova CEWs and/or iATM conversions.)
I put together a series of rather simple "upgrades" to vehicles the Society would likely have access to. Most focus on minimal changes to the base vehicle, and I try to keep in mind the general lack of crew quality the Society suffered from.

Replacing the IS BAP with the equal-weight Nova CEWS (which provides similar capability) is a no-brainer for the Beagle Hover Tank. Nothing else needs to be changed, so this would be a pretty quick and dirty change. Both lasers could be changed to the Clan ER versions without trouble, since it still falls within the 10 free engine heat sinks (thank goodness for that), but that would also increase the BV on something that's really going to die from a sneeze anyway.
I also have a Shamash conversion, but I had to remove three of the four ERSL to fit in the Nova, so I don't know if it's really worth it. It's 100BV cheaper than the Beagle Hover Tank above, but at that point the modified Gabriel would probably be a better unit.

Based off the Royal version, this drops on ML and the ECM suite to fit in the Nova CEWS. The extra half tonne is taken up by replacing the rear-facing SL with an SPL for better anti-infantry capability. A complete update to Clan equipment is problematic because extra tonnes would have to be allocated for extra heat sinks, thanks to the higher heat production of ERML. Even if the NARC was replace with the Clan equivalent, three tonnes would have to be found for heat sinks.

This is a simple upgrade to the Donar to be compatible with the Nova CEWS. The heat sink requirements for the Nova means that the Streaks needed to be removed, along with the ECM (not much of an issue).

This is a pretty good update, I think. It drops the ERML (and the five tonnes of heat sinks) to get a Nova CEWS, more armor, and an extra tonne of LB-20X ammo.

A Nova version of the Epona. I included a TC to help deal with the poor quality of Society crews, though maybe replacing the ERLL with a PL would be a better choice. Still, I didn't want to go with LPL cheese everywhere. Plus this is both less heat and less weight than the ERLPL while still getting good range.

Yep, the Nova CEWS generates 2 heat when in operation, so vehicles need HS to cover that. A few of the light vehicles I posted, like the Zephyr, have that covered by just the 10 free HS from the engine. For ones, like the Donar, two extra tonnes had to be kept open for the extra HS the Nova requires.

Errata: The Nova CEWS generates +2 heat while active. Units with this system that do not track heat must have enough heat sink capacity to deal with this.
The Nova CEWS needing heat sinks is not without a precedent, vehicular stealth armor for example.

This is particularly annoying with the Royal Nightshade, since the Nova CEWS slots perfectly in place of the Guardian ECM, but the LPL uses up all heat capacity, so you'd still need two more tonnes free for HS.

No Nova on this one, same as the Badger. Nova would have increased BV, and it's just supposed to be a transport for your infantry. From an in-universe perspective, the Nova is a pretty damn expensive piece of kit, so it's not going to be slapped on just anything. The ERPL is suboptimal, but I'm not trying to make this completely optimal.

The Ares is given a rather expensive XL engine, and it now fuels an ERPPC linked to a TC to help mitigate the poor performance of Society crews. Front and rear armor is the same so that it can turn around and retreat from the enemy. A Nova system also helps the unit provide accurate fire at range.

This Hephaestus version uses AP Gauss Rifles to make good use of the fixed Active probe--linked to a TC, of course--with the Nova there mostly so the unit can act as a spotter once it's dropped off its infantry. The BV remains fairly light as well.

While the laser remains the same, all the Streak SRM-6s are replaced with a single iATM-12 on the turret. I could only fit two tonnes of ammo, but given the streak nature of the single iATM launcher, I don't think this is that big of an issue.

All secondary armament is removed and a fuel cell engine is provided, which reduces overall weight andcost. The two big LB-20Xs are replaced with a pair of HAG/30s linked to a TC, plus enough ammo for 16 rounds of fire. The lack of anti-infantry weapons would doctrinally be mitigated by protection from other members of the unit's Un. Heck, in a Trey there might even be an Un of Protomechs assigned to protection for a mostly slow-moving vehicle Un.

This strips out the LRM and its ammo, along with the SRMs, for an iATM-9 and three tonnes of ammo. The ECM suitee and armor are traded out for some FF, which makes room for another tonne of HAG/40 ammo, TC for the big gun, plus Nova CEWS. To cap it all off, Laser AMS is placed on the turret for protection. An extra half-tonne of armor is also plated on.

Based on the ATM version, replacing the HLL with an iHLL and the MGs get upgraded to APGRs. The Streaks were downgraded to regular SRMs, but this is actually pretty useful since it allows them to use inferno rounds to scare away infantry. One tonne of iATM ammo was also dropped in favor of another tonne of GR ammo. No TC, though.

A notable departure in some respects from the typical Mars. The XL engine from the (XL) version is retained, but the speed remains the same as the base version. The LRM-15s are upgraded to Artemis V, providing the crew with some much-needed assistance at hitting targets (particularly Society crew). The ER Large Laser is replaced by the Society-favorite ER Pulse version and the Gauss Rifle is replaced by a RAC/5 with enough ammo to fire at near full rate for 16 rounds. The machineguns are removed from the main turret, while the side SRM launchers are replaced with AP Gauss Rifles to deal with pesky nearby infantry. The forward-facing LB-10X is replaced by the much lighter Protomech AC/8, which has some use when loaded with specialized ammo (particularly precision). All of these weapons are linked to a targeting computer, ensuring that even the greenest of Society crews will have some level of battlefield competency.

The Nightshade would be a natural choice for upgrade, since the Guardian ECM can be replaced by the equal mass Nova CEWS. Problem is... all 10 engine heat sinks are already in use by the Large Pulse Laser. Two tonnes need to be freed up for the Nova.
The best option is to drop the engine by two ranks, slowing the helicopter but it still retains a respectable 192 km/h speed. The extra leftover tonnage is used to expand the cargo bay and replace it with a proper infantry bay, large enough to allow a single commando squad to be inserted.

Not without some notable compromises. The best that I could do is 14 tons of pod space, and that is with a lot of compromises (XXL 9/14, 4,5t FerroLam, etc):

Oh, I made the Nova a piece of fixed equipment in mine. :D
Still, using XXL feels like it's a bit excessive. It's an extra 10,000,000 C-bills in cost. Besides, if the Nova CEWS is removed I'm able to fit a RAC/5 (with only two tonnes of ammo) onto an XL engine unit.
But damn the devs for not letting Light TAG (or TAG in general) from being placed on a mast mount. I guess that's lostech (http://www.taiwanairpower.org/army/oh58d/mms.jpg).

Yes. The extra half-tonne comes from the fact the Nova CEWS is not present in the A variant, and that thing weighs 1.5T. Removing it gives me an extra tonne of ammo... and a spare half-tonne to use on something else. The mast mount is fixed and can't be removed, so I could certainly put a light TAG on the unit somewhere, though I don't think the turret will fit it, so it would have to be fixed forward. I'm not sure a sensor dispenser can be placed on the mast (there's an outstanding rules request from July on this issue in the Rules Questions forum), nor am I sure that would provide any benefit (it's dropped on the ground, so it doesn't make much sense to put it on the mast anyway).
I suppose a recon camera would work.

For whatever reason, I realize I never posted my other VTOL. Well, better late than never.
Here's the first version. The basic design concept is to build a fuel-cell powered ultraheavy support chopper. It's also a Clan Yellow Jacket.
My thought was that it would be among the first production lines set up after re-establishing themselves. It was designed with an eye towards cost, speed, and export potential. The initial design specifications called for it to be able to fit into a light vehicle bay, but since such a defensive unit wouldn't be part of an attack or raid, being forced to use a dropship's cargo bay was deemed acceptable. To maintain high ready rates with the limited production the Society could muster, ensuring all vital and common maintenance systems could be easily accessed was important
