I am proud to say I was the executioner for that. For my troubles I ate about 20 HE ATM rounds, which I survived well. The 4 RAC 5s that hit me with 17 rounds is, however, another matter entirely.

The turrets were fun. But a bit too deus ex machina, I'll be using turrets that don't have typical weapons next time.

Not for lack of trying- I did try to DFA Paul's Annihilator in there, but his pilot rudely passed on to the undiscovered country before I could land the shot.

You seem to have a habit of attempting to DFA 'Mechs as they're in the process of exploding.

Hey, that was SAM that had that habit! I have plenty of my own foul habits, thank you very much!

(Really I should have been torn to shreds in the process, but as Paul noted before I missed a chance at something truly great, so I guess consolation prize was not getting boned over by getting lit up with four LB-10X on the way to failing to land the attack. As it was, I dinged up the left leg on my HCT pretty badly on the landing.)

I actually had a pretty good day for a change. two assists on paul was the majority of my money for the day though.

I think I can build up some cash in just a few rounds. That Vindy 5L is a lot of fun and very survivable (knock on wood), but it might be time to cash out. Considering I put a lot of character points into melee specialties though, whatever bigger/better 'Mech I get probably needs to come with something stabby.

Just get your kill on me or Sam at this point and I think you'll be a made man from killing a 'famous' pilot. Sam alone is probably worth about 12 mil due to his absurd amount of fame. I'm probably worth about 8 mil at the moment and a boat load of fame and cp. That will get you a in heavy or assault fairly easily.
