Maybe not until 6pm, but the 22nd seems doable for me as well.  Hoping to stop in on the 16th, but I'm having my dad in so I'm not sure how long I can stay.

Just a reminder about tomorrow's game, in which things will begin to heat up...!

Also, apparently, Games & Stuff carries the latest novel release:

YAAAASSSSS.

So, if you care about that one, or just feel like spending money on BT novels to help more grow, make sure to pick up a copy tomorrow!

Perhaps worth adding:

It's the store's 16th birthday! They're doing all kinds of stuff throughout the day, so stop by even for a few minutes, even if you can't play in the game.

Included in the fun during the day: Clay-O-Rama: make a monster out of playdoh, and fight in the melee! Don't be surprised if I ditch you all repeatedly to check that out.

More details:
http://gamesandstuffonline.com/?p=4888

Also worth noting: they've drastically overhauled their customer appreciation program. For example, every month, someone with the store's bumpersticker will get $50 gift card, based on whichever car Paul (Not me, store-Paul) picks from the lot. But there's a lot more cool stuff; there's some great ideas here:

I know everyone tends to be really impressed by the store when they get there, so I thought it worthwhile to put a spotlight on their efforts.

Appears no schedule changes as of yet for next Friday so if either Engineer, Paul, or anyone else is still interested in meeting up around 5 or after at GC&S lmk.  That way I can put something together this week and put items in my car for the trip.  Probably nothing more than 6 units a side.  Any preferences to any faction or force, lmk and I'll try and have something for anyone thrown together.

So I bit the bullet. Sold that Hatchetman, despite my love for it, and bought a Warhammer IIC-4. Didn't need a loan for it, but it nearly broke the bank to do it regardless. A few money-making turns though and I'd be okay if I needed repairs and such though, right?

Nope.

Sam's Hunchback claimed another meaty bit by slapping the Whammy in the face with two salvos of ATM shots, critting the cockpit. Did you know HE warheads taste vaguely of cinnamon? Now you do.

A lot of loans and not the least bit of nausea later, back out there and had a decent day of it after that, but... man, screw that Mech and its pilot. We need to get rid of that thing in May, early and often. I call upon you all to do your part- slay the demon! Make Solaris safe for the rest of us again! His next bludgeoning could be YOU!!!

how about an improved ATM boat with inferno rounds.  that might be enough to counter the other ATM boats.

Not sure how expensive iATMs are, but my guess is 'not cheap'. (Actually I'm not sure there's even price tags for those Mechs, not that I've seen anyway. Doesn't mean there isn't one, but just that I've never looked at it.)

Remember though that infernos, no matter where you lob them from, have a pretty strict cap on how much heat you can cause to a target (same with plasma), so while it's not insignificant to the target it isn't fatal either.

All you need is a Gauss rifle, and everything will get better. Trust me. >:D
Walk softly and carry dual LB-10X
If that doesn't work, opt for dual Gauss

Sometime you and I need to have a discussion about plasma weaponry. I think you might want to think about it at some point in place of the Gauss (say, removing the rifle and its ammo along with the two standard medium lasers on your BLR for two plasma rifles in the right arm?).

Thing is, they do ten points of damage each, but ALSO do 1D6 worth of heat to the target. You're firing superheated wads of styrofoam (seriously) to do that. They don't have explosive ammo, and the weapon can't explode either (your Gauss rifle can go boom).

A lot of work and money to do that mod, but I'll guarantee no one wants to be in front of that thing. Also, flaming styrofoam wads are funny. ;)

So you are saying that I might actually make cash and fame if I kill Sam again?  I can potentially be bribed to make this happen.

Can we play with the expanded heat table next time?  I'll purposely take something with a nice wad of Plasma Cannons just to make Sam's pilot make those extra pilot damage and ammo rolls  ;D.

I hate to be a bother, what day did we have for May? I'm scrambling to get some things done beforehand but don't know how much time I have to work with.

Saturday the 14th

Glad I asked, I had the 21st in my calendar but was sure that wasn't right.

Time to buckle down and hope for dry air sometime soon for emergency priming.

It appears I will there as well as the table top was cancelled.  For the person I may be bring with me, what amount of starting cash should I suggest they start looking at?

How's 8 mil sound? I think everyone i past that point.
And if not, just kill Sam.
Or consider yourself to be at 9 mil as well.
But still: kill Sam!

ah bummer, sorry I missed it  ;).    I was really hoping I'd be there when that rolled around so I could fiddle around with a Fafnir 5WB.  Not certain I'd want to throw that puppy out there if we are going to go with an arena we have yet to play in yet.

This is pretty sound advice in any game, really. Even games that don't involve combat.  O0

Sorry I couldn't make the game this weekend. I was very excited to field my shiny new GM-fiat-bestowed Atlas II, and then I heard someone (Paul?) was stomping around in a Hellstar. (At least there weren't five of them at 0/0 this time...)

Do we have dates for June and/or July?
