Unable to get a venue for December. Sorry folks. G&S has a large Magic tournament the weekend in question, and after that with the holidays people just aren't around for gaming anyway. Gonna have to shelve my game for a while until Paul's done with the campaign.

As I generally do nothing spectacular on NYE. I may be interested. It entirely depends on on how well my recovery from surgery goes as to whether I am out and about. Surgery was today. Post op visit tomorrow morning. Will probably have another in the next week or two at Hopkins. That is also to say I may be available after the appointment during a week day if all goes well too.

Firesprocket and I had a small NYE game at G&S. one lance not to exceed 10000 BV with one custom mech. things seemed pretty even, one mech killed and some of the remaining were close.

And the last weather forecast I looked at literally said:

Friday: Cloudy
Saturday: Ice Pellets
Sunday: Scattered Showers.

I've had something come up, so I can't run anything Saturday.

If someone else wants to pick up the baton and maybe run something mild like a Grinder or something, that may be good. (Weather permitting)
After all, not everyone who plans to attend, checks this website.

I am new to the DC area, and a long time Battle tech player. I am just getting into Alpha Strike with another older friend who plays battle tech as well. Alpha Strike is pretty amazing. So when do you guys play at G&S? Does anyone ever live out in Calvert county or around Andrews?

there is no current AS games running, although I am interested. generally we play regular battletech about once a month, with nothing currently scheduled for this month.

Got a date: March 11, a Saturday, will be when the campaign for Anywhere resumes.

As for a February event: happy to help, though I would prefer if someone else could take the lead. Alpha Strike is not my favorite thing, but I should be able to be helpful none the less.

Failing that, I could slap together a quick pickup game as a form of welcome for salcor. =)
