Her name is Sweet Candy and she is THICK, so shut yer pie hole.

But aside from that, there were some issues with Second Succession War that need my attention so that it can keep moving along smoothly, so Mizar has to hold a couple days.

And did I mention, THICK.

It's that intro fiction, aint it? Man, the guy who wrote that is a pointless hack. Stop giving him work!

Brief update: Touring the Stars Mizar was supposed to release today (I started to hype it earlier this week), but circumstances required my attention elsewhere. When you see me dropping some more blurbs from the book again you'll know it'll hit a couple days later.

Strange one to do since we seem to have a lot of info on it

The star system itself sounds cool and it's got plenty of switching hands in recent years I don't get the pull (ignore the pun I couldn't think of a way to phrase it - pull, the draw to it, attraction seriously how many gravity gags are there) ::)
My three main Alternate Timeline with Thanks fan-fiction threads are in the links below. I'm always open to suggestions or additions to be incorporated so if you feel you wish to add something feel free. There's non-canon units, equipment, people, events, erm... Solar Systems spread throughout so please enjoy

Oh yeah. Definitely prioritise 2SW  :) Touring the Stars installments are nice, but 2SW and IlClan are what I'm starving myself for [drool]

All Clan totems are equal but some are more equal than others.

"The Succession Wars solved no problem. Their effects, both immediate and indirect, were either negative or disastrous. Morally subversive, economically destructive, socially degrading, confused in their causes, devious in their course, futile in their results, they are the outstanding example in Spheroid history of meaningless conflict."

Just to give a little background Ben Rome told us he was pitching a WoR novel and then at some point after that he left Catalyst.

Shame too, would have been an epic novel. Lets hope Ben will decide to give it a go anyway. Too many unknowns though.

I don't know, but it looks like you answered it yourself.

Adrian...maybe it's my migraine, but I'm confused on your answer...so I'll break it down...

#1 - Was there a WoR novel proposed at some point?

#2 - If yes, was it cancelled due to the departure of Ben?

#3 - If yes, is there ANY way to get one (or a series of them...at least a trilogy) back on the table?

Lastly...in all seriousness, will there be any more information, like a centric product focused on...the Home World Clans at any point in the near future or before ilClan comes out (aside from TRO:Golden Century)?

I'm sure I speak for many others...I'd love more information / stories / write ups on the HW Clans.

Dragon41673, sorry, you may have overlooked where I said "I don't know."
However the same poster who said such a novel was proposed and wondered its status, said it was proposed by Ben Rome, who's no longer working for CGL. So I suggested that he answered his own question.

That's all I got.

Sorry, I missed the parting question: no real post-Reaving news on the Home Clans in a long, long while.

One should note that just because something is proposed doesn't mean it gets approved and put onto the schedule. And if it's not on the schedule, it technically can't be cancelled.

Such profound implications to that definitive statement, yet made on April 1st so maybe there aren't any afterall.  Well played.

Very true...just grasping for stars! LOL it's honestly my most favorite read...by a very long margin. More of the same is always a good thing!

Hey, Adrian, I know it's probably not something you guys are exactly prioritizing for obvious financial reasons, but are there any updates on the status of the 3150 NTNU record sheets? It's been almost two years since the TRO dropped and I'm dying to play with those units.

Me, but only because I saw it had new replies. I know Ray well enough that if he says something, I believe him.

Kit_deSummersville, on the other hand, could tell me the sky is blue and I'd double-check, then make sure he hadn't slipped tinted contacts into my eyes, then check to see if they even were my eyes, and I'm still not sure I'd believe him.

I thought about pitching "BattleTech Touring the Bars" but I'm not a drinker.

The layout on The last few holiday books fell to me and I was pretty busy last month. I'm glad Blaine at least put something out. :)
