So, I bought some Unseen the other day and they arrived this afternoon. When I opened the box my four year-old asked what they miniatures were. I said "Battlemechs" and he replied, "what are battle-mites, Daddy?"

My wife, naturally, laughed at me.

Sorry, it's 0415 in the morning and I just found out I'm losing one of days off due to a co-worker illness. Sad for her, sad for me. It's Overtime and that is always good.

The new job want me to start on 27 Feb

I'm hoping to get my first day as a consultant (think Lt Col/battalion commander equivalent) where spent my first day as a house officer [doctor] (think newly minted lieutenant)

I don't feel like starting a whole new thread for this one question, but riddle me this: During the Five Princes era (Simon Davion-Alexander Davion) Robinson was the capital of the Terran March. What was the capital of the Draconis March at the time? When Alexander reorganized the marches, why did he make Robinson the capital of the Draconis March instead of just leaving it where it was?

Nevermind, I found it. It wasn't in the Robinson or Drac March articles, but I thought I remembered Tancredi IV having once been more important, and there it was in the Tancredi IV article: "Tancredi IV was still the capital of the Draconis March during the Davion Civil War." Still doesn't answer why the move, but c'est la vie.

This is a question I have been looking for for a long time. I want to see a map of the Federated Suns that includes the Terran March. We have maps of the time period but none show the march borders that I have found.

The wife and I took our boys to see Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus on its farewell tour. It was a trip 30 some odd years in the making since my Mother begged off taking me after having a bad bout with chemotherapy. Glad I went. Too bad it is ending. I thought it to be better entertainment than Sesame Street Live or a couple of others I've seen recently.
