I think you're significantly overblowing that, because even with a minor error or two I have yet to read an article from you I have not enjoyed or found informative.

Hellbie your 'oTW' are always fun, I still go back and read the old VoTW's :) So what if we make some mistakes, in my Warship ones i'm sure i made some errors as the Warship rules are pretty darn complex and not very user friendly, but I enjoyed writing them.  And that's the big thing, if you enjoy writing 'em, do it, who cares if someone goes *nerd snort* "Well actually...." so don't worry okay :)

...wait, why am I scheduled? The whole idea was to have something assembled to throw in if there was a need for something on the fly, Friday comes around and no one has anything ready. I'd rather someone else take that schedule slot, to be honest, and let my article return to being a floating buffer in case of emergency. If there's really nothing for the 16th so be it, but it's not really what I had in mind here.

Kansas City players, or people who are just passing through the area, come join us at the Geekery just off Shawnee Mission Parkway for BattleTech!  Current days are Tuesdays in the afternoon and evening.  I can't make every single week, but odds are pretty good that somebody will be there.

You got scheduled because A) You actually got something (no one else has said anything yet), B) I really, really want to read that Hercules article.
Now, if someone comes up with something, we can move you to a back-up slot, or something. As i said, the schedule is preliminary.

Fair enough... keep me updated via PM if the schedule changes then, and I'll plan on throwing this thing at the wall next week.

I thought I handled this before I left, but apparently I did not; The Rifleman IIC has been fair game for anyone who wants it. I was busy with USAF Boot Camp until a few weeks ago, so I was unavailable for that time.

I'm going to rebuild the buffer article since I had to use mine today with the Apollo (which hasn't been covered in ten years, so it's time for another look). I want to again emphasize that this is a 'just in case' article and NOT being put on the schedule- if a Friday comes along and no one has an article ready, let me know.

Any chance I can convince someone to do the Razorback?  It's one of those nifty-but-ignored Lyran light mechs (err...Hogarth battle armor).  It was covered before, but not since 2004, and 2 new variants came out in RS 3067u that have never gotten the MotW treatment, and they're very interesting indeed.

Also, I have this weird affinity for the design I can't explain.  ;D

What, the bad one of the series? That movie never happened.  ^-^

Also, quick question- is the Centurion request for the standard or Omni version? Because those feel like they should be separate articles.

I assumed the request is for both... But i do agree they'd be better as separate articles.

I might be willing to write about the Omni Cent but that's no promise. I did already consider writing about both but when i started composing the thing in my mind, i went "nope!", due to sheer amount of work, plus it might not be so clear.

Tell you what. Let's split it and schedule it for sometime in October. I'll take the standard Centurion one week, you post the Omni the following week. Fair?

Yeah, should work.

Might as well do an outline right away, then let the idea simmer for a time.

Look at it this way, it means I'm handling the heavy lifting- there's a lot of Centurion variants and a long history. You'll have the base chassis, the assorted configurations, and for the history you can pretty much point at me. :P

There's a reason i kinda like writing about Omnis (when they're not the Perseus)...

EDIT if you want to off-load a bit, i could write about the Yen-lo-wang, in a separate article. Maybe. Actually, probably.

So, ah... got quiet. Quiet is bad. What's the plan for tomorrow, folks? (I have meetings on Friday morning, so if I'm getting thrown in with the Apollo I need to know today)
