Battletech Scale 3D Print Buildings

My buddy recently bought a 3D printer and designed some original buildings for our games. He posted them on MyMiniFactory.com. Anyone that wants to use them can do so for free. The hex buildings are designed to be modular and have a base that fits on Heroscape tiles.

I'll definitely be using these...and at HeroScape scale, that means they'll work on my 1.75" Hex Board just fine!

You bet! They are awesome! The antenna really pushed the capacity of his printer and ended up breaking off the one he printed. I manually cut it down and fixed it.

I printed a second of the buildings. Interestingly, the windows on this second print look correct. The previous one that my friend printed on my behalf had the windows inverted. The new 'red one' looks much better.

The windows going 'out' can work too, look at some of the old 70s buildings where they did that sort of thing- either as ways to angle the light in or to block it in direct areas.  Or it could be sound/wind baffles, lots of options for reasons why it looks that way if you want.
