Hidden units in QS?
« on: 06 April 2013, 10:55:10 »
Does anyone have a set of house rules that work for this situation?

My idea was to give the player two decoy markers for every one hidden unit.  I toyed with the idea of using a X,Y coordinate system but felt that this might get to fiddly and open to slight placement "modifications".  I also like the idea of decoy markers because it means less work for me.  Any thoughts?

Thanks

My group generally just takes a photo of the unit in question with their camera and can reveal it either at the beginning of the turn, when it makes an ambush attack, it ends up being landed on by a enemy unit and or in range of a probe.

We also allow units to launch an ambush when something moves within six inches rather than being right on top of the unit in question.
