Title: (Answered) Chaos Campaign: Succession Wars, hire mechwarrior cost question

CC:SW page 31 'hire a new mechwarrior (green)' has a cost of 30 SP

which is in line with the cost found
Total Chaos page 17 - 30 SP cost

but in Campaign Operations (which was published AFTER) Total Chaos, the cost is 100 sp (page.163) the cost is 100 SP

Why was there a regression to a later publication in Chaos Campaign: Succession War? Was this a typo, or was it intended? I am curious about the reasoning.
