Awesome! Would the 21st work for you?
I've penciled it in. Right before I go for a vacation, so it's perfect.

When do you want my Empy article to go up?

Since we have a lot of people writing stuff up, how about another midweek article? Would the 18th work for you?

'Mech of the Mid-Week is today? Right, damned timezones, i usually notice such articles on Wednesdays here...
I've made changes to my Raven article based GreekFire's recommendations and it is ready to go. Will post it... in a moment, after final formating for this forum, i guess.

I'll reserve the Hauptmann and Sha Yu if that's OK? EDIT Make that Sha Yu a "maybe". The Hauptmann is a priority for me.
The former because i find the OmniMech rather interesting and it lacks an article, the latter because of its relation to the Raven.

Also, i release my reservation of the Thresher, the 'mech's so boring i can't write about it (not now, anyway). One depressing 'mech, with only bright point being it being the precursor to the Summoner.

Let's just count this post as the Thresher MotW. Very little more need be said.

Heh, perhaps i should try some kind of parody review or something. Might actually work... i recall some people writing reasonably funny ones about poor mechs.

I'll claim it and write an interesting MotW on it (or at least try to).

Oh and here it is... Thresher MotW

Damn that was snappy! And yeah, I agree that the Emperor can still go up. Shouldn't cause any problems.

Well, this works as well.
I'll just focus on the Sha Yu and Hauptmann then.
I couldn't even come up with any jokes or such about the Thresher, so very uninspiring. (Like, you can joke about the Hellbringer's armor. The Thresher? It has poor armor but not that poor... so it doesn't work.)

I've decided to be crazy and tackle a third 'mech as well, the Sling. One of my favorites...
So, the Hauptmann, Sha Yu and Sling for me.

Putting in a triple request for the Sunder, Black Hawk-KU, and the Raptor. Those are the only three First Generation OmniMechs that don't have a current MotW article.

Is Hauptmann a first or second gen IS Omni? This is kind of relevant, as i was going to call it a first generation 'mech in my forthcoming (estimated this year :P) article. My logic is that the Word of Blake's Celestial-series are real second generation IS Omnis, and anything post-Jihad is third generation.
Is there official distinction between Omni generations?
