The Locust was then ambushed by the Ebony, taking an arm hit that froze the shoulder, negating the pulse bonus of a third of its weapons.  The Ebony in return ended up falling and crunching its sword arm off, after missing a kick.

As the vintage machines pressed on, the Emperor and Pillager revealed themselves, damaging the Commando, Shadowhawk and Thunderbolt, breaching armor on the Commando and Shadowhawk, while also rattling the Shadowhawk and Thunderbolt pilots.  Meanwhile, the Emperor and Ebony took a number of hits in return, with the Emperor also taking a few pellets from the Shadowhawk's LB10X in the head and even pinging the engine.

The Jinggau was forced to reveal itself when it was clear the Ebony was lost, and armor breaches were beginning to show on the Emperor.  The Locust and Commando started to flank on the side while the Battlemaster and Thunderbolt advanced up to put pressure on the Emperor.  The Shadowhawk took the brunt of the Jinggau and Pillager's fire, losing its hip and a leg actuator, falling in the process and knocking out the pilot.   The Jinggau also too a gyro and head hit, falling in the process, but managing to recover.

The Jinggau started to retreat due to it being the commander unit, while the Commando and Locust decided they did enough damage and began pulling back as well, after making one more pass at the Jinggau.  The Shadowhawk was destroyed as well as the Emperor in short order, with the Battlemaster and Thunderbolt taking large amounts of armor damage, as priority shifted to taking out the mostly untouched Pillager.

Game ended due to time with the Jinggau making it off the board and the Pillager conceding a loss, as it probably wouldn't have survived taking on both the Battlemaster and Thunderbolt.

Dice were finicky for both sides, with alot of head hits and misses on low to-hit rolls.  The tech advantage was with the Cappelan forces, but the Star League side had better pilots which helped compensate for the tech advantage.
