Megamek Primitives?

Are there primitives in Megamek? Wasn't seeing any earlier. Trying to work on an Age of War thing.

They're there, but I think a lot got lumped under IS Unofficial or IS Experimental.

IS Experimental for designs coded level 4, unofficial for those coded level 5. not sure what the distinction is.
