It was in the novel Betrayal of Ideals.  An adopted Wolverine scientist used Wolverine genes in several sibkos.

Ah, I missed the earlier trailer... thanks for adding some more mortars! :)

The biggest problem is that if you're doing this from the the FedCom side, they're going to demand you turn over all the shinies to them.

They're kind of jerks that way for a while.

So just noting the jeep has a trailer with 5 infantry mortars and the Groundpounder bomber carries bombs. However per advice I produced a trio of Mech mortar carriers as all of these mortars seem to use the same size of round making logistics acceptable.

Bradley Mortar- Removes the turret and infantry bay and downrates the engine to fit a mech mortar 8 and 4 tons of varied ammo thinned armor was acceptable for an artillery unit can still survive a heavy gauss shot to any armor face.

Paul answered a rules question in that vein around 10 years ago here: https://bg.battletech.com/forums/index.php?topic=40686.msg1310315#msg1310315

That's the closest to an official citation I've been able to find so far.

Players were hired to do this for the Lyran side of StarCorps. They had a previous working relationship with them from the Feddie side.

They hit Steelton - StarCorps had hired a survivor of the 12th Star Guards to serve as a liaison. I recall it was Jade Falcon but not which unit exactly anymore, but the mission was a success.

Clanners have devolved to warcrime babies.  Using the excuse of honor to murder.  Hell, any related to the subject the Ghost Bears had entire class of cadet age siblings commite ritual suicide because they were from a tainted ancientry, reaving them.

A sick sort of justice in the setting for sure in Canon. Just another reason not like Clan culture. Why I think ilClan era is going have some nasty landmines fictional wise to come.

What sibko did the Ghost Bears reave? I don't recall that right off hand.

To live on Mars, we'd have to genetically modify people to live in the low-Gee, lower air-pressure.

Per a couple of sources, perhaps most notably JHS: Terra, the Western/Terran Alliance/Hegemony *did* do a lot of baseline genetic therapy and anti-viral work. The humans of BattleTech are referred to as Homo sapiens stellaris (IIRC); they are sturdier, healthier, longer-lived, and comfortable in a greater range of planetary conditions. Even before the Star League, the average lifespan on Terra was over 100 years.
