I'd like to request a left arm from either the resculpted Highlander or the new Battlemaster.  I'm looking for a left forearm+hand to stick on a plastic Banshee to make a -3E.

I've had great success just using the lower right forearm of a plastic Banshee and flipping it upside down to be the left forearm.

I just cut enough of the weapon barrel off and stuff an approximate sized fist into it

Wow, that's a proper Banshee, worthy of the name!

What mech is the hand off of?

Very cool! I was afraid it’d be too different in scale.

The SRM box from 20-5205 (battlemaster) would be useful, what else is on that sprue?

One item I’m interested in would be the arm sprue from the Shadow Hawk-2Hb so we could make 2D models and similar that have the lasers on the LH arm as well.

Can’t remember if that sprue also has the SRM-2 pack as well on it, but that would be useful as well.

I'm pretty sure that the SRM pods are molded directly onto the torso of the 2Hb mini.

The Shadow Hawk minis (2H and 2Hb) have the head mounted SRM-2 as a separate piece.

Ah.  Guess it's been long enough since I put mine together that I'd forgotten that.

Can you please, pretty please add jumpship fins (and/or spokes) to the scrapyard? I am in desperate need of a source.

What specific look do you want?  Anvil fins can be very useful.

I'd love to see the Forestry Mech Chainsaw arm in the scrapyard. I have a dumb Ghost variant to build!

I will go through to see what new request there have been for parts and make a list. My next protest is to work thought the parts that I have to process for images for the remaining Scrapyard parts that are missing pictures. The list is pretty big.

I would love to see the new AWS-9Q arms available and the WVR-7M, 7M2 options available as well.  Those are so good for customizing!

I do not envy you man! I was doing it as they came in for restocks for ones that didn't have them on the IWM site, but with the large batch that came through last, just not enough time...ever, to get it all done.

Yeah, it is fun for sure. I have been doing it in batches, but my last trip to IWM I collected the remaining parts that I need for the items missing pictures. Its on my list to do through out this year.

Would parts for the new minis that correspond to the CGL set mechs be available? I had one boxed set that was missing an arm. CGL sent a replacement mech, which was nice, but I'd like to get the arm. It's a Battlemaster left arm. The bits I have aren't very close in appearance or are too off in scale to work well.

Thanks in advance for any info.

The metal Battlemaster arm isn't going to match up well to your plastic one either, unfortunately.

Size?  Otherwise for 'uniformity' of look it might mean slicing off the remaining arm so it will match up with both that are ordered.

The metal minis, especially the Battlemaster, have some degree of shrinkage compared to the plastic minis they're based on.  Has to do with the amount that pewter shrinks as it cools vs the amount the plastic shrinks as it cools.

I've been swapping metal for plastic parts in alot of my custom builds, and really haven't come across anything too horribly unscaled between the plastic and metal versions of the mechs so far.

Which is why I said remove the one arm that is present . . . they may seem large or small, but they will be symmetrical on the mini and unless horribly small it will not really stand out unless it is next to a regular plastic Battlemaster.

About to start taking pictures of the 100+ parts that need images for the scrap yard. Will be going by SKU groups and I will note any new items that are added when I do the groups.

How do the sprues work on the new IWM Urbanmech? Is there a weapon sprue that could be offered for people wanting to convert all their plastic Urbs?
