Supernova 5, Mongoose 96, and a Partisan AA Veh (Wheeled 50t) hit the battlefield in a huge brawl.  A pristine old model Crockett tried to square off against Capt Bryant Dunham in his Supernova . . . took 5 of the 6 cERLL to the chest . . . 2 to the center, 3 to the left . . . blasting all the armor off that side.  And most importantly against that pristine mech, finding the SRM6 ammo bin.  With only a single salvo of SRMs having been fired, the explosion of that and the other ammo in the mech turned the woods it was standing among into toothpicks.

The Crockett however had a final laugh, it connected with a large laser to the Partisan's turret managing to blow a LB-5X completely off the side.  The savaged tank fought on, avoiding other incoming fire until it followed up a Supernova salvo to the back of a Lancelot 03 on the military crest of a hill.  The Clan Large Lasers stripped the armor off the back but did not find anything inside.  The LBX pellet that followed however, did find the remaining 6 salvos of AC/5 ammo . . . turning that otherwise untouched mech into confetti.

. . . poor guy next to me, if I got a crit it found his ammo it seemed.  His Cataphract 4X had it's right leg opened up on turn 2- before his Crockett got blown up- but it managed to soldier on the rest of the game, LBX and HAG shots managing to do damage everywhere else but that leg.  Even my Mongoose's kick that connected on the last turn hit the undamaged leg.

Looking at the map, Keystone and Kalidasa are the most accessible for recapture.

It's 50 . . . I vote 'Imperial Tour' as the new thread name.

Applicable, and obviously tongue in cheek.  I like it too.
