Looks good to me as is. I'm supper pumped to see this completed. Is Speck back from vacation yet? I'm missing his presence on the boards.

speck is back from his summer vacation (I still get the image of the Griswolds driving across America  ;D ) but I think that IWM might be a little bit snowed at the moment preparing for GenCon . . .

Feels like it needs to be "wider" from the side view. The top is very thin in proportion to the legs.

The orthos make it look very wasp-waisted.  Lower torso is only as wide as a leg whereas the existing art shows it wider.  With the arms as the are, there's plenty of room to expand.

Stormnion1, heh I kind of like that. Stormneon would be hilarious. I may have to name a Dropship that for the campaign I'm running.

Did the credit vouchers go out yet?  No rush, I just want to be sure mine didn't get caught in my spam filter or something.   8)

Vouchers go out yet?  I delayed my June order to put the funds here.  Going to have to wait until after Gencon now, but then I can just combine it with my August order.  I'd like to get the voucher before I order, though.

I tried to get them out before I left for Cincinnati but just did not happen. Will send them when I am home after gencon.

I think it's looking good. I just wish I could make out some of the details on the black section better. Still looks 1000 times better than the previous sculpt. (No disrespect to the maker of the previous sculpt)
Why not Zoidberg?

I like it! Only thing that seems off is the arms look almost too bulbous. Maybe some detail to smooth it out. But like Baron said. Heads and tails above the original.

2 questions.

1. credit vouchers?

2. I was looking over the preview pics again and I feel like the arms are splayed out to the side instead of pointing straight forward? I can't tell from the picture, but do the lower arms attach to the upper arms with a ball and socket joint?

Epitaph on an Army of Mercenaries

These, in the day when heaven was falling,      Their shoulders held the sky suspended;
The hour when earth's foundations fled,         They stood, and earth's foundations stay;
Followed their mercenary calling,               What God abandoned, these defended,
And took their wages, and are dead.             And saved the sum of things for pay.

Depends on the design.  Mostly styrene, brown and green putties and force of will. :D

Based on his description, I'm guessing B-3 means "Brown Stuff" and "Green Stuff", which are both two part putties, ultimately made by Polymeric Systems, but sold under a ton of other brands, at various prices. Green stuff, especially, is very common in the miniatures industry.

I usually hear Milliput referred to by it's brand name, rather than a color nickname. It seems to be less common. I am told, by reliable sources, that it has very different texture and working properties compared to green stuff. (I think Milliput is more crumbly, whereas GS tends to stick together and stretch or deform.)

BLACK Magic of course. O0  I use the green for filling since it tends to expand a bit after application and brown for embossed details, corners and flat surfaces since it files really crisply with a fine file.
