Hunter tank
« on: 05 December 2019, 07:37:06 »
I am using the techmanual to develope a variant of the Hunter tank and I can't make the weight match.

35 ton tank, 175 fusion engine(7 tons), Internal structure(3.5 tons), Control(2 tons), Armor(6 tons, 96 points), LRM 20 with 2 tons of ammo(12 tons), Vehicle flamer with one ton of ammo(1.5), that comes to 32 tons.  What have I failed to account for?

I am planning on a mod that replaces the weapons with a large laser and LRM 10 with 2 tons of ammo in a turret but I have to have the construction down before I try to alter the design.

Thanks

Shielding and Transmission of the Fusion Engine, (+50% of reactor weight) 3.5t

Not a vehicle but a regular flammer

That is only listed in one paragraph.  Totally missed it, thank you.

just as suggestion: use LRM5s instead of LRM10s. You save one ton for every two LRM5 compared to one LRM10. Three LRM5s with one ton of ammo is possible this way or you go for one PPC+2LRM5 instead of one LL+1LRM10

I set up a table in word. Was a bit easier to refer back to than my .pdf of the BM.

Did: standard, light, xl, Fuel cell, ICE, Vehicle Fusion.  AND just realized that if you half the weight of a vehicle fusion engine it weighs the same as a Light Fusion Engine ... so Light Fusion Engines = XL Vehicle Fusion Engines.

went up to 500 rating.

eewww ... just realized I used tabs instead of a table.  Might have to convert that as long I don't screw up the formatting.
