I chose to do a mercenary group. All models will have a different color scheme.
The first 5 are done.

Looking very sharp! Walk us through how you painted the Awesome and Beemer, please!
Couple of photo hints:
1) Take the biggest image you can, then crop the extra border, then shrink to a more suitable size. The Awesome looks wonderful, but it's hard to see, because the picture has so much background.
2) More light! Fluorescent tubes tend to be less harsh than incandescent.

Sharp indeed! The gold contrasts nicely with the other colors!

Wonderful work there! Excellent color choices. 8)
I concur with Worktroll on the photo editing. He gave me the same advice when I first started posting, and it made a big difference.

Thank you.
It does look like gold but it's not. It is in fact Army Painter's brown primer with a wash of GW's Agrax Earthshade (dark brown) ink.

Interesting... the brighter the light, the more it looks like gold to me, so I just assumed that brown Awesome in the first pic was just dark lighting...

That is what I did. But my light source are ceiling recessed DEL. Very white. The problem is the beige cardboard I used. It tints the colors via reflected light. I'll try something else for the next pictures. ;)

Thank you!
Cork board bought at the dollar store in sheets of 12"x12".

Very exciting to see someone already hard at work on these! And they turned out great. I chalk the "gold" appearance to superior shading.
