This fortnight, we look at the next two heavy 'Mechs of the Star League first seen in
Technical Readout: 2750, the
Champion and the
Exterminator. My recollection is neither 'Mech was particularly favored, but they did see a bit of a renaissance after the Unseen debacle, when downgraded versions were included in
Technical Readout: 3025 Revisited. I don't have much else to say about either 'Mech - and apparently no one else has much to say about the
Champion since there isn't a 'Mech of the Week article for it. The
Exterminator, however, does have a
'Mech of the Week article.
Like most 'Mechs from TRO: 2750, the
Champion and
Exterminator only have one metal sculpt each:
The
Exterminator, however, comes in two other forms: a special edition transparent resin figure (CE-008) from Iron Wind Metals and a plastic sculpt from CGL in the ComStar Command Level II Pack from the Clan Invasion kickstarter.
