The quirk list was originally created using only the old art as a source, and the machines on the BMM list with No Torso Twist were assigned such because of that old art. However, there has been a series of new art pieces steadily rolled out in the past few years of old mechs, and in all cases, machines that previously had no way of twisting have been given such.
As such, the next printing and errata release of the BMM will be removing all trace of No Torso Twist.
