Not one, but two Banshee sculpts for the 3rd quarter. Both the 11X and the 1E. Oh man. This and the Primitive Thunderbolt, Longbow, and Wasp.

Can't wait.

August does indeed look to be an awesome month for minis.

The awesome and detailed artwork demands only the BEST sculptors be assigned to creating these minis IMO.

Out of curiosity, when would the sculptors start working on these for an August release?  What is the typical amount of time dedicated to creating a mini from being handed the artwork to job complete/mold casted?

september is the best release month ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! also i'm kind of getting tired of xtro releases, I'll probably get torn up by this comment, but there are sooo many minis from 'regular' tros that would make awesome minis that I would prefer to have been done before things like the Banshee 11x (especially since there are two different banshees being realeased, while at the same time the current banshee sculpt is going into the archives). also i know the primitive tbolt was funded a looong time ago.

"Warriors, not war machines, are the backbone of the Hell's Horses. While others worship the BattleMech as the ultimate weapon, the men and women of this Clan see even this awesome piece of technology as the tool it is. We have held to this philosophy since the days of our first Khan, who knew that the value of the common soldier far outstripped the brute force of the BattleMech. It is one reason our Clan possesses fewer mechs than most, and has led many to underestimate our fierceness and courage. Our survival against all challengers when others have fallen proves the folly of such arrogance, and testifies to the wisdom of our founders."

I think they all suck.... Just kidding, I am STOKED by virtually every mini on that list.  The Dola will be cool, WH IIC 8 is a bad ass mech that I would love a mini for, not a huge Banshee fan BUT love the artwork for the 11X so want a mini for that, a month of primitives, then a stellar month of DA mechs that I have wanted for awhile especially the Vulture and Gyrfalcon... love my hovers too so the Scimitar II will be awesome too!

My metal crack addiction wished we had 50 new mini's a month come out  >:D  ,   but I am loving the consistent stream of new stuff arriving.

Any idea what the "Primitives Lance Pack" will cost at GC?  Will it be the same as buying all 4 individually, or .50 cents cheaper, or what?   ???  I'll probably get 2, regardless.  :D

Vulture Mk IV... yes!

I'm really happy to see that too. I plan on buying a few to distribute among the various factions I play.

Prim Wasp and T-Bolt eh?
So if I rip up a calendar right now to August does that mean I could get them sooner?  ^-^
No? Darn.

On the bright side my wife now has anniversary gifts planned. By that I mean I'm purchasing them and telling her that's what she got me.

Must, have, more, Preseens!  :D  Can't wait for August as well.  O0 [drool]

Off the subject-  When will the MAD-4X Marauder mini be confirmed, if so will it have an optional dorsal gun for a slight nostalgic homage? (Doesn't have to match the original dorsal gun shape)  I really dig the MAD-4X.

Nope, they will be at gen con first. We are hoping to have the fortress for Historicon but that will depend on how production molds are coming.

As well as many others...I know it doesn't work like this, but I wish IWM would proceed in making minis of the mechs for the TRO that has come out first (chronologically if there are more than one out such as with XTRO's or TRO3145 series)...rather than jumping ahead or making variants of minis already available.

Just a guess, but looking at overall reactions and comments I'd say the Primitives will be much more popular than Mechs like the Ursus II.

Also supporting the current timeline and the corresponding new products is probably a high priority and explains the number of Dark Age designs in the pipeline.

It is not easy to find a good compromise between popularity, support of recent products and backlog (and fan financing) with only limited resources available.
