Developed by the Society to cover the losses in the Second Line units of the Clans that supported their War effort distributed among the Hell Horses, Ice Hellions and Fire Mandril, and based on mixed technology of the Inner Sphere and the Clans.
Thanks to the Capture of the Deposits and Melissa ScrapWorkshops, the Society began to build Panther IIC, Dragon IIC, Dervish IIC, Centurion IIC and Zeus IIC, having in their hands an impressive amount of resources, the Tumulario was the first hybrid mech built by the Society
He soon became a common figure among garrison units in the OZ, with Raids across the border soon after the Tumulario began to appear in some merc units in the Lyran / Ice Hellion / Jade Falcon border area, his sword has made it popular with Members of the Dark Caste by giving them a Melee weapon, rare to see in clans.
Due to its rare "cranial" development from which protrusions emerge that some merc in the inner sphere thought they saw ears, it has provided the Tumulary with the Nickname of Rabbid Rabbit for which it is best known among the mercs and the Inner Sphere.
