Title: Combining A Time of War with Chaos Campaign
Post by: Shark_bone on 31 August 2023, 15:22:20
I've been messing around with a couple of Total Warfare solo campaigns and one solo A Time of War campaign and I've been wondering how I could combine the Chaos Campaign and Warchest system with A Time of War. Does anyone have any suggestions how the two might mesh? I've got the idea that I would like to have some tracks in the Chassis Campaign that were RPG tracks, not board game tracks, but I'm haven't figured out how to do that, yet.

C-Bills are the only common cost thing I can think of, sorry! :/

No worries, really! It's just an idea I've got bouncing in my head. And, since "there are no original ideas," I want to see what others have done with it.

Thanks, and good luck getting more ideas!  Six more posts until you don't have to prove you're human anymore... :)

Woo!

Though, that might take me awhile. I tend to lurk more than anything.

Except for using the track as a background or a premise, you'd have to craft each from the ground up for the RPG. It's doable as XP would be handled as per AToW but even adjusting the Warchest Points to C-Bills would take things out of proportion. Without going in and working those numbers, maybe one-tenth of what it would be for a solo character in AToW.

Nice! Thank you.

I'll keep that in mind when I'm finally able to try and put something together.
