I was looking through Sarna and found the entry about the Deep Periphery world of Alfirk, and mention of the plague. There was mention of a plague that ravaged the world in 2963, the locals repaired their JumpShip drives and began heading back to Terra only to find they were hundreds of light-years from Terra. Eventually they made contact with ComStar's Explorer Corps who gave them some help with the plague and told them beware of the big bad Successor States. Does anyone know when they made contact with ComStar? Also does anyone know what their population was like around 3025? What sort of culture did they have?
I also checked out mention of Farstar on the Sarna site and found out that it was a small colony world taken by the Federated Commonwealth after the Fourth Succession War and used as a base to infiltrated DMI and MIIO agents into the Draconis Combine. Apparently there was a large enough population to support a pirate band - the Farstar Pirates raided the Draconis Combine in 3089. Does anyone know anything about when Farstar was settled or what the colony was like?
