Avengers Infinity War (Spoilers)

Just watched it. Not bad. But way too many characters. Unexpected ending too- a sort of cliffhanger. My top Marvel movies are still Avengers 1, Cap America: Winter Soldier and Civil War. This one is just slightly below the first Avengers movie. 7.5/10

The only ones left were Tony Stark, Warmachine, Cap America, Hulk, Thor, and Black Widow from what I recall (I think rocket and Groot too, but I dont remember). Of course the ones who got disintegrated would probably be back- Loki, Heimdall and Gamora died by direct combat so Im not sure if they will ever be back. Ant Man, Wasp and Hawkeye werent around so they're still up. The post credit scenes mentioned Cap Marvel so she'll be around.

That's actually kinda refreshing, but typical of Marvel Comics.

I figured that the stories for Thor and Cap and Tony were far from over.

Makes me wonder if the talks of the actors being done was a red herring, or something got worked out for a few more films.

Still think some of these guys deserve some serial TV time.

I think youre right about Groot. I distinctly remember Dr Strange as being turned to dust too, leaving only Tony Stark and Nebula on that alien planet.

But I doubt they'll stay dead.

I remember Thor mentioning to giant Tyrion that half the Asgardians were killed by Thanos, but the survivors weren't shown on screen.

I'd be happy if the director would have gotten rid of the shakeycam in the beginning of the movie.  We can't appreciate the choreography in the fights if we can't see the fights

of course, many of those characters are guaranteed to return when what Thanos did is undone. Some are sure fire, bet your house, the car, and your miniatures on it.

Why..because Black Panther made so much money.

I'm getting to the point where I wouldn't rely on contract rumors to determine where the story goes.  They may have signed NDAs on future contract agreements and such, and thus any talk about not renewing might be smoke and mirrors.

Besides, what you suggest is way too obvious, and I'm hoping for something a bit more creative.  However, some sort of universal reset via the stones would be a good way to do some recasting, if they feel they must.

Remember that Tony Stark did actually die in his comic line, then some weird thing with the nano-bots of his suit brought him back. What's to say he's going to look 100% the same?

I walked into the theater expecting a bodycount, but not that high and certainly not a lot of those individuals!  There was a large population of African American teens in the theater, basically one giant group of maybe 40, who whooped and hollered when Wakanda was first visited....and were literally screaming when Tchalla dissolved.  I feel like Marvel may have misstepped there.
