St. Ives Commonality - 3145
« on: 01 July 2013, 00:01:54 »
So, quick question.  Why did the St. Ives Commonality lose several of its worlds to the Sian Commonality in 3145?
Your stupid little opinion has been duly noted.

No. Shut up. And... *kicks you in the crotch*

Since there's nothing explicitly written about that in any of the books yet, I think it's a safe bet to chalk it down to politics.

As the Capellan leader, would you really want St. Ives to gain more influence in the Confederation?

Hmmm.  That is strange.  I'd chalk it up to the regional commands involved in Celestial Reward. Those worlds were still listed as part of St. Ives like normal in 3135.

St Ives lost 4 worlds to the Sian Commonality because they wanted a linkup between the conquered worlds and the commonality they would belong to. St Ives was compensated with six conquered worlds in the 'St Ives pocket', so they gained two out of it.
