I don't recall if I've ever posted this here ... but here is the best $20 I've ever spent.

Won a $750 Henry Golden Boy in .30-30 from a Veteran's Club raffle.

Congrats on the win!  Are you sure the price on it was only 750?  I'd have thought they were a little over a thousand...

Yes, I was very lucky.  that was 2017-2018.  I've only put 20 rounds thru the rifle, but it has the clunky-est lever action I've ever experienced.
Brand new Marlin 30-30s & Winchester 94s are FIRM and Buttery.
This Henry action is 1970s-auto-jack-stuffed-with-sand STIFF.
Apparently, its a known issue.  I just have to send it to Henry for a factory refinishing.

*checks GunBroker*  holy Price inflation!  These are selling for $1000 - $1400 now.  Lucky me, I'm planning on selling it after the factory refurb is done.
I'm really wanting a .357Mag revolver with a blued frame and wood grips.  An older Ruger Blackhawk has my eye at the moment.

Okay, I'll start off with a question.  If there was one gun that you could own, something you would buy when you win the lottery, what would it be?  Name your heart's deepest desire.

Not sure I ever responded to this, but,  AA-12 in Full Auto,  because,  happy times :)

Well, since we're bringing that up again (and I missed it the first time): a Ma Deuce.  Seriously, you CAN buy them.  One heck of a tax stamp, of course, and good luck buying ammo!  8)

Yep I looked at 1 back in day, would hate to see the price now.
for me it would be a Thompson Submachine Gun with drums.

Dang, you beat me to it.  I was thinking "if I could have just one class 3 weapon, what would it be?"  Yup, Tommy Gun, Drum Mag, Violin Case, gym membership to get me back into shape to carry it.

Another excellent choice, but the Ma Deuce for me... the sound that thing makes is SO distinctive!  :)

Got a new baby in the family, to celebrate the change to permitless concealed carry in Lincoln.  I like large calibers, and a big bullet in a small handgun reliably is going to go to very few options.  So say hello to the Charter Arms Bulldog, with added Lasergrips.

I'm waiting on a delayed shipment of ammo for mine, how well did yours shoot?

Recently bought a Smith and Wesson 5.7x28.  My first trip to the range wasn't promising, but it might be a case of just getting used to it.  I'll post pics when I get a chance.

I fired one of those once. At a buck a bullet it didn't last long.

I'm seeing less than 50 cents per round at the moment... or did it fire something other than .45 ACP? ???

the .357mag was very nice but it was a mid/early 80 era one.  It still was very smooth firing and I could hit the target regularly.  Miss it, wish I still had it as a backup weapon.

Well, this was 10 years ago and it was what the gun range we went to was charging.
