So what happened to the IWM release schedule thread? Is it gone for forever?

Someday I will find the source of the panicked paranoia that seems to grip so many members of these forums on occasion. When I find it...I will not be merciful. >:(

What about the classic Warhammer?  They've had a prototype for at least 6 months.

From what I've understood, Catalyst will have the "Classics" first, in plastic. At some point IWM "MIGHT" produce them in metal, but I don't recall them ever officially saying they will.

Now...there's a LOT of rumors out there, such as the Classics being in an Alpha Strike Box Set. BOTH the assumption of them appearing in said box set, and the box set itself...have NOT been confirmed officially. It's all rumor at this time.

I hope someone is working very hard at bringing these to market. I don't know anyone who doesn't want several of them. Getting them up for sale should be about the equivalent of printing money.

Centurion Omni???  I already have like two dozen CN-9's!  Now I HAVE to get two dozen Omnis!  not to replace, but because they are my favorite mech!

WHY IRONWIND!  WHY DO YOU LOVE MY BANK ACCOUNT SO!

Can't you just use a battle station like everyone else? Your befuddlement beam needs calibrating.

So I can't share images of the Omni yet, still waiting on some final details approval, but I can say that it looks vastly better than both the DA mini and the art  >:D

That is disconcerting. But I will still eagerly await the final miniature and decide from there like always.

I believe you'd did it justice. As much as I like the Centurion I hate the DA look it was given.

I can attest to that. Stinger's sculpt turned this from a Mech I didn't much care about into a Mech that is very high on my "must have" list.

So, I have to ask. The Centurion Omni: Are the little cylinders on the left shoulder individual pieces like on the Ghost, or somehow all connected/molded together, more like the Legionnaire? I'm buying one either way, just curious.

Before I was excited for this mini. Now I'm frothing at the mouth for its release. I'm definately buying multiple since I will be using it as the omni and as a proxy for the originals. I wonder which variants got made. I'm already planning on kitbashing the YLW3 from OTP:CC
Why not Zoidberg?

Unfortunately, the cylinders are separate pieces. It is a necessity of the way the minis are cast, just no way around it.

These are not set in stone, but we are looking at the Prime (obviously), the A, and the C. I just finished my mock-up of the  A, still have to do the jump pack for the C...

Yeah, I will definitely have to find a better way to manage getting those little cylinders on straight. I had a heck of a time getting a secure enough hold on them to really control the angle they were sitting at. No worries. I'll figure something out.

Interesting choices on the cent variants. I would have thought the D would show up because it is the most radically different, visually speaking. Of course, my undying love for hatchets probably colored my expectations a bit! It would be interesting to know what makes a variant a 'winner' in terms of making it to production. Obviously how well they think it will sell is a big part, but I'm sure there is more to it than that.

Personally I think it looks better without the cylinders, they are a part of why the art looks so cartoonly. (just my personal opinion)

A proper miniatures assembler always puts a little bit of himself in every mini. :)

Just as a note, because the heat sinks will be very fiddly, I am making sure there is an extra sink in the blister, just in case you drop one...

So then, are we looking at 3 separate minis, or 1 with alternate parts?  Or 2, with 1 having alternate parts?   ???
To me, Repros are 100% Wrong, and there's NO  room for me to give ground on this subject. I'm not just an Immovable Object on this, I'm THE Immovable Object. 3D Prints are just 3D Repros.

Ironwind ultimately has final say, but I recommended that the Prime/C be in the same blister (given the main difference between the two is the jump jets), and then the A would sold as an online exclusive separately.

But, like I said, it is ultimately up to IWM, and they may decide to sell the C separately online also.

Stinger...

I'm guessing it's due to the TRO art...but this looks skinny versus the TRO. Any reason...or is it because I'm a sleep deprived father or a 2 year old and new born twins as of April 28th?

So, there are quite a few reasons it is taller (I like to say taller, not skinnnier :D) than the TRO art.  This is a fusion between the TRO art and the DA mini.  TRO art is too short and wide, while the DA mini, is, well, wonky.

Truth is, it shares the same proportions with the 3050U centurion.  There is actually a blockout of a 3050 Centurion in there, deep inside.  Well, if you hit undo a million times on the model you'll eventually get a 3050 centurion.

The mini itself stands somewhere between a PP Wolverine and a Wolverine II both in height and mass.

And God bless your soul.  I thought my 14 month old was keeping me busy enough...

OK cool Stinger...thanks for the breakdown. We're there any extra variant parts, or are you unable to say?

Yeah...the twins are really testing the limits of insanity brought on by sleep deprivation.
