(Answered UPDATED) Ejection Damage to a Mech

Page 199 of Campaign Operations only covers the case of a Head being blown off (it may be reattached).  What's missing is what does ejection do to a 'mechs Head (TacOps covers what happens to the MechWarrior in detail)?  I see several options outside of the Full Head Ejection system:

1) It destroys the Cockpit critical alone.
2) It destroys all of the critical slots in the head but leaves the internal structure intact.
3) It destroys the Cockpit critical and inflicts 1 point (or more) of internal structure damage, with attendant critical roll.
4) It destroys the Head entirely.

Any assistance would be most appreciated!

No game-level damage is done as a result of the ejection, only the removal of the pilot.

Wow!  That's much less damage than I was expecting... I guess the rest of the cockpit electronics are just that hardened... thanks Xotl!

As we've realised that there's no cockpit repair entry in the CO table anyways, we'll be amending this answer to make a cockpit slot repair required, along with adding a line for such in CO so that it's possible.

That's an even better answer!  Thanks for the follow up Xotl! :)

And yes, this impacts a game I'm running.  The unit CO's Marauder took a cockpit critical when the unit had to abandon ship over Astrokaszy, and the PCs killed a pirate Flea, from which the pilot ejected, trying to deny them as much salvage as possible.  It sounds like there MIGHT be enough pieces and parts to repair the Marauder after all (the pirate Hermes had its head removed by a Blazer Cannon, so NO parts from that...).
