Headshots with my ERLLas seem to happen a very disproportionate number of times...though it is rare that it happens twice on the same enemy........

I hear your bean dip is to die for.

Is that where Ghostbear gets his one tagline from?

I'm great at overestimating the frequency of statistical outliers, and perceiving patterns from randomness.

Actually I DO make a pretty good habanero/black bean/cheese dip, but that's neither here nor there.

Hah, nice.

My streak SRMs seem to always have much more concentrated damage than usual.  Sometimes drilling right through a torso and leaving other locations completely untouched.
All that is born dies,
All that is planned fails,
All that is built crumbles,
But memories continue on,
And that is beautiful.

I am mainly good at:

- missing with indirect fire (i´m soo bad that i don´t even try anymore).
- surviving with Crusaders - i´m average in the hits i make, but my Crusaders rarely get crits and i cannot recall the last ocasion i got an ammo explosion - i´m not so lucky with other models... nearly all my PXH-1 end with ammo explosions...

What is here? Jamming 7 out of 10 UACs on a Kraken. Including all of them on an arm.  :D

Late round initiative win streaks. After about round four or five, I'm known for dominating rolls. The other thing is for jamming the UAC20 on the Blitzkrieg on my first shot, each time, every time.

AceCrew135 is known for his ability to sand off all the armor on a 'Mech except for one non-head location. Last major game he had taken all the armor off my 'Mech except for the Right Torso, which had not been hit. IT WAS AN ATLAS.

IonTigerHawk is known for his abilty to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. He used to be a bad player, now he's really good but everyone's dice hate him, even his own.

TheKeeper, my wife, is known for playing a Stinger.

The one thing my group hates is me taking fast hovercraft or similar vehicles.  I am really good at taking out a mech's leg with a JEdgar 17 hex charge and only get armor damage for the hover.  I can usually keep them dancing in a very annoying manner.   >:D  It's really bad when a buddy of mine is in the game too.  He's just as evil with them, but when we are on opposite sides of the battle, it degenerates into a sabre dance in the middle.

Example:  He has a lance of Regulators, I have a lance of Gausspanzers (from MNA), we are in the middle of a four way fight.  The others have mechs that are fighting each other and they get in our way.  Both of us take exception of the intrusion and fire both lances at the two intruding mechs.  They take all 8 rifles and go down, and we go back to circling each other and not hitting a thing.

I can also get very nasty with artillery.

I'm an expert at using Elementals, just as long as I'm playing against the Bot on MegaMek... which is conveniently clueless on how to fight them.

Almost forgot the one thing I am known for around here.
When I am losing, and it is all over but the crying...I suddenly win.
It has gotten to the point that people that play games against me go for hard/fast kills, because if they wear me down or slow down to regroup, they lose.
I don't do it intentionally, I think it is just a mentality thing.  They get excited because they can not lose, and I do NOT get demoralized or give up...it is kinda zen.
Ghostbear (pre-jihad mostly), 357th Cave Bears ... free hugs for Snow Ravens.
CapCon when playing dirty Innersphere. (Seems I may be looking into FRR...been away a while).

he only had that happen the one time, as far as we know. have him bork another 7 Krakens that way one the first couple of turns and he can be known for being "good" at it.

Getting used as target practice. I really have no skill at this game, but still play when I occasionally can.

Pretty much.  For that reason alone, I prefer to play as the opfor.

EDIT:  There is much more of an edge to the game when I play it this way.

I seem to be much better with lighter units then larger units. Do more crazy things with them, and it works out better.

I'm curious, are you rolling for the automatic chance of motive system damage with each successful charge (TW p. 148)? Just asking because it's an easy rule to overlook -- MegaMek didn't implement it for the longest time and I never noticed until that one day...

Yes, and I usually roll a 2 or 3 for it.
