Here i thought the old version of the Thorizer was April Fools joke on troops on the airfield. With Hovertank suddenly doing jump and not quite coming down.  ;D

Also, the Comstar card game could work, it is basically the Game of Thrones card game by Fantasy Flight.   :D

Haven't seen that one, but I have played Illuminati (and I bet the OP has too...).  I think the whole "control as many secret societies as possible" gig fits ComStar to a T.  And as I recall, "The Phone Company" IS one of them... :)

I really do miss the April Fool's product that they would put out.

It was some of the funniest and great writing produced by the writers of Battletech.
