Ghost Bear campaign

This thread is for the second campaign I'm running. It will be played on Friday evenings, more or less 9-11pm EST.

It focusses on Warriors from Clan Ghost Bear and starts in 3062, shortly after the start of the Ghost Bear - Combine War. After the events surrounding 3062, the campaign will jump to mid-Jihad when the Bears take on the Word of Blake.

I am modifying those rules slightly:
- Skill Advancement will be done gradually over time rather than bought with SPs.
-'Mechs can only be bought if they are available. D3+3 'mechs will be available each time the player unit gets a chance to restock, and the exact types will be found by rolling on custom RATs I have made.

"Trothkin, you all know how honorless scum from the Combine military struck a coward's blow at our capital Alshain. Though they were repulsed easily, this outrage awoke the Bear's wrath. Our forces retaliated, taking a swathe of Combine worlds and punishing their dezgra defenders, but the Combine has not yet been repaid in full. The Bear is still hungry for vengeance. Our front-line Galaxies have campaigned well but they are heavily engaged in battles over several worlds, so it falls to reserve Galaxies like our own to open up new fronts against our enemy. 

The system of Itabaiana is held by the Abjured Nova Cats. The saKhan has granted the Warriors of Tau Galaxy the honor of taking this system. The 2nd Bear Regulars will lead the attack while we of the 18th Provisional Galaxy Cluster deploy in support.

The Nova Cats are no longer truly Clan and are not to be considered honorable opponents. They are the lapdogs of corrupt Spheroid tyrants and are to be treated as such. This is to be red war, not a sibko cadet duelling exercise. Show no mercy."

Arc 1, Track 1

The Ghost Bear Clusters have made planetfall intact, the Aerospace assets of the 2nd Bear Regulars managing to hold off the Nova Cats' Aerospace defenders. The 2nd Bear Regulars' ground forces quickly pushed for the industrial city of Curacao while the 18th PGC moved behind as a reserve. First contact with Nova Cat ground forces was made when two Striker Stars struck the 18th PGC's flank, hoping to cut the Ghost Bear force in two.


Set-up

35x35 hexes, temperate lowlands ('Zama')

The Ghost Bears use the south deployment zone. The Nova Cats use the north deployment zone.


Attacker

The attackers are a force from Clan Nova Cat's 153rd Garrison Cluster (R/Q) of Chi Galaxy. It comprises Alpha and Beta Stars of Vanguard Trinary.

Defender

The defenders are a force from Clan Ghost Bear. It comprises the 505th Striker Binary of the 18th Provisional Garrison Cluster (R/R), Tau Galaxy.
