 ;D brilliant

I can see a bunch of Victorian (one of the states of Australia) high-school nerds putting in "special consideration" requests indicating that they had been distracted during their VCE (sort of equivalent to the SATs for our American friends) by inclusion of Battletech in the History exam, which was not in the syllabus  O0

Incoming fire has the right of way.

The only thing more accurate than incoming enemy fire is incoming friendly fire.

Always remember that your weapon was built by the lowest bidder.

But when students opened their exam this morning they found an altered version of the work with what appear to be a large "BattleTech Marauder" robot aiding the rising revolutionaries in the background.

I cannot begin to explain how that makes me cackle with glee.  Seriously, I'm giddy with righteous mirth.   {>{>

A mate sent me the link today with the line "Anton Marik's revolt?" I cracked up

Surely you'd still get serious points for examining the fall out from the break up of the Second Star League and the subsequent Jihad? I mean, what are we teaching kids, if not that...

Well, that would encourage students to study history a lot more better than colored historical image :D
On behalf of the Berserker,
Sure it isn't the most practical 'mech ever designed, but it's a hundred ton axe-murderer. If loving that is wrong I don't wanna be right.

Yeah, great now when I try to tell my teenaged boys that they have to stop playing PC/XBox360/PS3 and do some study, they will put MWO/MW4/Mechcommander2/MechAssault/Megamek on and say that they are studying the Russian Revolution  >:(

The historical parallel makes it even that much funnier.  What 'Mech did Natasha Kerensky drive when she first started?
I believe you will find it is Alexander Kerensky.

History is just different in Australia.

Well it's official. BattleTech Marauder is a stronger meme than Robotech Glaug.

Hardly surprising as the name Marauder and BattleTech is just a stronger combination.  O:-)

Well...I think this carries some significance as to HG's ability to defend its stolen IP....

And *fist pump* YES! First identification was Battletech, not Robotech! YES!..

Oh they merged it and I'm fine with that. All Bolshevik Mech threads should join together TTGL style.
That way we show the great power of the Battletech Marauder in a nesting doll type of way.  8)
