(Answered) ASCE: infantry base contact follow-up

I had a follow on question to the thread below:

The answer in that post states that infantry in base contact can not make a weapons attack, but may make an Anti-Mech attack. It appears to me that AM attacks are still part of the “Physical Attacks” section that starts on page 45.

However the “Heavy Horse” SPA on page 101 states

A beast- mounted infantry unit with this SPA delivers 1 additional point of damage upon any successful attack against a unit that it is in base contact with. This damage does not apply to physical attacks, however.

By my reading, that means a player can never actually add the bonus damage of that SPA.

Is that the intent?

Nope, not the intent and will be errated to remove the "This damage does not apply to physical attacks, however."
