Well, I built that Adder from the parts that came with it in the big ebay lot I got . . . I prefer the B & D, which those tiny Prime arms can simulate easily enough.

Guess I also need to put the Mad Dog together from that lot.

Can't say I'm a big fan of the Enforcer's arms, but i have another strong patlabor/ms08th vibe from that unit.   ;D

Cougar XR?  [drool]

Ugh, I hope not.  I'd really like a good looking Cougar without wings first.

Kansas City players, or people who are just passing through the area, come join us at the Geekery just off Shawnee Mission Parkway for BattleTech!  Current days are Tuesdays in the afternoon and evening.  I can't make every single week, but odds are pretty good that somebody will be there.

How different does the Wolverine 1R look from the -3R, since I cannot find a image of the -1R?

Look at the Fan Funding thread for it.

Although technically the FF thread shows a -3R, as it has the SRM pack. The -1R doesn't. Hopefully the pack is a separate piece.

Yeah, I could find the -3R art but not the other so I was wondering if they had other differences.  Hopefully it does have the SRM as a attachment, if not I could always get one off a MWDA vehicle or something.  Since we have no idea when we might get any Classic minis, I might have to consider that for a 6 series stand in though I do have the -7H too.

Wonder if the gun will be a separate piece since I wish the -7H had it differently.  I would like to make a -7M at some point.

is the cougar gonna be built to accept arms from the 3050 omnis?  I always felt that it, the Phantom, Pouncer, and Linebacker should have been treated as "Compatible" due to the similar art style used

Also looking forward to giving my Sowrd of Light a Mk II Hover Company!!!

The cougar was not *explicitly* built to accept 3050 omni parts.  But.  It should be more in scale with those parts and it wouldn't look out of place in the arms.  There will be covers for the torso missile racks provided, so overall, it shouldn't be too hard to modify as needed.

Me too, I am also quite excited by the Orion. Hopefully they will be in the IWM store by the end of this month.

Does the cougar use the resculpted adder legs? I'm hoping it was built around those.

Yeah, I always found the original mini a bit goofy, so I might get a couple of these to sub in.

For that Wolverine, does it have a missile launcher to become the -3R?  Is the AC built into the arm or is it a separate piece- like the TDR-1C's Large Laser?

You know, you people keep releasing stuff I want to buy, and I'll never be able to get all the projects I want to do done.
Good news is the lab boys say the symptoms of asbestos poisoning show an immediate latency of 44.6 years. So if you're thirty or over you're laughing. Worst case scenario you miss out on a few rounds of canasta, plus you've forwarded the cause of science by three centuries. I punch those numbers into my calculator, it makes a happy face.

I talked to Dak and the wolverine can be the 1R or 3R. Missile launcher and AC separate parts.

Any News on the Con Specials yet?

In the gencon thread in the general BT forum I posted about what is in the Vengeance Lance pack and mentioned a second Lance pack that is a 3150 Fed Suns themed. Will be posting more details here this week yet.

Is there any update on the Locust 1V http://camospecs.com/IWM/Details/1706/locust-lct-1v as yet or is it still unknown (or something that can't be talked about)?

That will depend on which 12 classics IWM was already licensed to produce in metal. I remember someone said that the classics were being pushed for plastic first. So if that is true then don't expect it to be out in metal for awhile unless it is one of the 12 IWM is scheduled to release.

It was Adrian Gideon in the 2016 gencon thread

Last I heard the 3D master didn't make it to gen con in time, which was quite disappointing.  It should be in house and IWM just needs to mold it, I think.

Yup, the 3D master arrived just before Gencon. I will find out a update.
