Should the Blood Asp A have the torso mounted Gauss Rifles? I would think you just have a PPC and a heavy laser in the hands and nothing on the shoulders.

How different is that Ebon Jaguar from the old one?

Looks like the Blood Asp A comes with extra gauss rifles.  No complaining here!! Beautiful.

I think I prefer the look of the older Cauldron Born.  This one looks.... a little too tall and not as smooth.

Thanks for the update, Speck!

Ah, IWM marketing strikes again. It is an odd photo. What you can't possibly see in that shot is that there is a hip piece.

I believe it's based off the original Invading Clans artwork, which looks rather different from the later TRO3058 art.

Ah... enabling the Cauldron Born to torso twist is a good thing.

Great to see the outstanding Blood Asp configs available now.  [rockon]
For the Cauldron ... i'll wait to see that sculpt in real. On the pic it seems everything gone worse.

It's not a weight issue - it's specific to the Cauldron-Born.  The current Cauldron-Born mini is very low to the ground, unusually so, but I think it's a favorable look for it, which flows with the CB's errata.  Low and deadly says 'Predator' to me.
The Bushwacker's lineart and errata say it's a very low-slung mech, but the model isn't and I find it's weapon pods to have a tacky appearance, too distinct from the rest of the torso to look they belong there.  IMO, the new CB sculpt loses the original's elegant and deadly appearance, a fairly unique look, to follow the Bushwacker's disjointed style.  Its torso weapon pods look too far set off from the body and it just bothers me

As long as they keep the original CB sculpt on the market I'm good.

Are there any plans to offer other Cauldron Born variants, or just the Prime?

Is this the AFG-sculpted Cauldron Born?  If so, all of you complaining are going to do some first-class shutting up when you see some real pics of it.  ;)

"Warriors, not war machines, are the backbone of the Hell's Horses. While others worship the BattleMech as the ultimate weapon, the men and women of this Clan see even this awesome piece of technology as the tool it is. We have held to this philosophy since the days of our first Khan, who knew that the value of the common soldier far outstripped the brute force of the BattleMech. It is one reason our Clan possesses fewer mechs than most, and has led many to underestimate our fierceness and courage. Our survival against all challengers when others have fallen proves the folly of such arrogance, and testifies to the wisdom of our founders."

I am willing to bet the A Variant parts from the bounty hunter pack will eventually be made seperatly and can be worked onto this

The CB in the picture does not look all that great.  The old sculpt is also not bad at all.  I will reserve judgment until better pictures surface.

The Blood Asp variants are very cool.  The ATM 3 hand fans look pretty nifty.

I just went onto the site to see the pics. The blood asps look great but no pic came up of the ebon jag. Is it just my phone or was the pic taken down?
