Here's a few batches of minis I was finally able to finish recently:

We'll start with some heavies from the 1st Regulan Hussars, including a kitbashed MAD-9M2

A Star of Falcons, plus a bit of air support:

Speaking of Falcons, a Naval Transport Star, with light escort:

An Archer from the 1st Atrean Dragoons, with appropriate air support:

And finally, a pair of Hastati Battlemechs:

Looking good. I like the way the Hussars came out. I keep trying to get a good blend on that scheme, but I'm never happy with what I end up doing.

I swear, most of that is the lighting, they don't actually look that good in person! :o I'd submit to CSO or CoolMiniOrNot if they did!

I painted them using the same basic technique I did for my Star League stuff here. In the case of the Deltas, I used Delta's(ha!) Hunter Green for the undercoat, GW's Warpstone Glow(or whatever it was called back then, I finished most if them before the last name change), highlighted with a drybrush of Apple Barrel Parakeet, and finally weathered them a bit with a very light drybrush of white. Machine-y bits were done exactly the same as the SLDF stuff, and the cockpits are plain black.

I see someone is very good at the 'Highlight, wash, then highlight' method of creating depth
and shading..At least, that is how it looks to me.

I basecoated them in GW Vomit Brown, trimmed in Apple Barrel Yellow, painted the machine bits like usual, did the heat sinks in bronze, then washed the whole thing in GW Seraphim Sepia.

I love it when some JumpShips get some lovin. I really like the blending job on the Hunter's dorsal side. Very nice.

It's an Armorcast laser blast sfx bit. I've found they make nice drive plumes.
