Release date has been announced as November 2024
"We have made of New Avalon a towering funeral pyre and wiped the Davion scourge from the universe.  Tikonov, Chesterton and Andurien are ours once more, and the cheers of the Capellan people nearly drown out the gnashing of our foes' teeth as they throw down their weapons in despair.  Now I am made First Lord of the Star League, and all shall bow down to me and pay homa...oooooo! Shiny thing!" - Maximillian Liao, "My Triumph", audio dictation, 3030.  Unpublished.

I apologize in advance, but those look like bibs to me. “I don’t care if you don’t like them. You need to eat all of your urbanmechs before you get any ice cream.”

Edit: Tessa beat me to it!

What's the context for all these? Are they drafts? Some of them look great, but this one in particular is a cool subject but the actual art looks terrible. I've liked the faux-painterly style of the new sourcebook art previously, but there's something about this one that looks like touched up AI art with nonsense brushstrokes and uncanny. It looks off.

Small thumbnails of prefinal draft art were shared on the Tuesday Newsday livestream, screengrabbed and AI upscaled, thus explaining the quality degradation.

Speaking of, I can't find the replay of this week's Tuesday Newsday, has it been taken down?

I suspect CGL didn't expect thumb nails to be made into full blown pictures using upscaling with AI.

Is that Alaric? That guy looks little different.

To the surprise of nobody other than Alaric, being the Boss of Everyone takes a heavy toll on even the most chiseled of vat grown features.

Presumably the Aleisha Kris, which I think is the Cappelan Navy's last Warship, unless more warships have been produced, which would make me happy, but seems unlikely.

There have actually been sparse references to a few new WarShips being built, but you're probably right that it's unlikely, at the very least until Catalyst figures out what they want to do with Aerospace.

I think alot of art got posted during the Newsday stream with Brent Evans today.

I find the Newsday Streams extremely frustrating.

Packaging all the BT related stuff with other CGL stuff, but then not breaking it out on the IP specific socials has made it harder to follow along.

Probably fine. It's not like the AFFS or DCMS are in any shape to invade. Speaking of which, I wonder if Alaric plans on going after the Suns or Combine next after he's done with the Confederation? I doubt either could muster enough of an army to hold him off.

If he has any sense, he'll reassert control over the Empire he abandoned before going to look for more fights to start. So once he's got the space around Terra stable the next likely move will probably be back into Lyran space to show the flag and make sure Othar (GENTLEMAN MECHWARRIOR) is fully onside. After that, maybe a trip up to what used to be the Falcon OZ to spread the Good News of Malvina's demise and Stephanie Chistu's ascension to those falcons that had been left behind (room for confrontations with the minor powers there, maybe a showdown with the Hell's Horses).

Then maybe focus on making sure the Lyrans know where they stand in the New Order.

I'm guessing CapCon never stopped pushing towards Terra. The goal of the campaign was to reclaim the former worlds lost in previous wars (and gain a few new one) and I doubt the fall of the Republic would do anything other than encourage them to keep going. I did have CapCon vs the Clans on my Bingo Card, I didn't have Ravens going on the offensive. The Ravens have allot of new toys so I should have, be a shame to not see them put to use.

The worldwide event was Clans Wolf, Jade Falcon, Smoke Jaguar, and Snow Raven vs the Capellan Confederation on New Earth. It will be interesting to see how that plays out in ilKhans Eyes and beyond.

It’s odd to me that some of the Raven machines are rocking the Raven Alliance logo and others the original Snow Raven logo. I wonder if there’s a purpose to that or if it’s just a mistake in the art.

Raven Alliance- which could include some non-Clan?  While Clan Snow Raven forces are dedicated Star League units?

I do not even remember seeing a 'brief' as in the past.  Did they ever release a PDF packet after the event like other times?  I usually buy them.

It's been put out for public distribution, but the link is kinda just floating around. Here's a copy from the CGL Discord: WWE 2023 but should work for anyone.

What I find interesting are a few mechs(clearly newer ones), rocking Terran Hegemony insignia.

I wonder if Alaric plans to reestablish that state(with himself on top, of course), and staff a new HAF with non-Clan enlistments from those worlds, keeping the Clans as the 'Royal' element of the 3SLDF.

I believe Arrastia said somewhere that the Terran people would have say in the new Star League. I suspect Terrans might be organized in a kind of nu-Hegemony. Might explain the emblem. Might explain how Alaric's Star League will get SLDF that isn't just the few Clans on Terra.
Of course Stone suggested Terrans will hate Alaric and the Clans, so i've no idea how Alaric would get anyone working for him. Not to mention RotS probably got everyone they could to join RAF, skeptical there will be many Terrans willing to join yet another military force.
